Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Whispering Feather Farm is home to The Way of the Equine Warrior, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization; the torch that spreads the light of compassion, collaboration and communication to the equine world. The farm is the main base of operations and education for teaching Equine Warrior’s methodologies. These methodologies train
individuals to understand and connect with horses and themselves, seeing the world in a whole new way. It’s a place to discover what is possible when fear, force and dominance give way to wisdom, understanding and trust. Where people come for horse training and leave with life-changing insights about themselves and their place in the world. And it's home to the horse heroes who were once lost, and have now found their home, moving from surviving into thriving.

When not at home, Equine Warrior founder, Anna Twinney, and her team of certified trainers, students and volunteers travel to where they are most needed, making a difference in the lives of horses and their guardians across the Globe.

If I had one word to describe The Way of the Equine Warrior it would be "compassion". I first crossed paths with Anna in my home country of Morocco. I then had the great fortune to spend two years at her ranch, learning her training methods so that I could ultimately take them back home with me and train others in the true language of the horse. Anna has a global vision to bring horses everywhere a more holistic approach that respects their uniqueness and gives them a voice. Their needs and dreams matter, for they are celebrated for who they are.
