Patricia Hatle
Tricia Hatle brings a lifetime of passion and endless dedication to the love of equines, canines, and all creatures from the human and animal worlds. A native of northwestern Wyoming, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Rangeland Management from the University of Wyoming. She recently retired from over a 30-year career with the federal government in public land management.
During her career she was noted for exemplifying high professional standards, coupled with a dedication to building strong working relationships with livestock producers, her knowledge of rangeland ecosystems, livestock operations and wild horses, combined with good negotiating skills and a tenacity to find solutions for all involved.
She worked to accomplish many firsts with managing the McCullough Peaks wild horse herd, including 20-years working with the non-profit grassroots organization Friends of a Legacy (FOAL). She worked side-by-side with FOAL to implement over $750,000 worth of grants and donations to improve the habitat, distribute water across the landscape and educate the public about preserving and protecting the wild horse herd living in McCullough Peaks.
In 2010, Tricia was introduced to Reach out to Horses™ and Anna Twinney. It was ROTH that provided the framework to translate what she observed in the wild, combined with a lifetime of equine experience in many disciplines into clear communication for all horses domestic and free. As a certified ROTH trainer, Reiki Master and animal communicator, Tricia continues her life-long dream of helping and working with humans and equines.
