Sam Marnick
Sam Marnick is the Chief Operating Officer and President of Commercial Business for Spirit AeroSystems, the world’s largest tier one aero structures provider in the world.
In this role, Marnick oversees Spirit’s global commercial aviation operations, including its programs with Airbus and Boeing, business and regional jets and emerging markets. She also provides leadership of Spirit’s global supply chain, fabrication, tooling and facilities infrastructure across nine global locations with a team of over 10,000 employees.
Prior to becoming COO, Marnick held a progression of leadership roles since joining Spirit shortly after the company’s creation in June 2005.
Before joining the company, Sam was a senior consultant and Principal for Mercer Human Resources Consulting, holding management positions in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
Her prior experience focused on research and change, working with U.S. and Pan European corporations on corporate infrastructure, leadership and development, compensation and benefits programs, mergers and acquisitions and global corporate strategies.
Before embarking on a career in communications consulting, Marnick worked for Watson Wyatt, the U.K.’s Department of Health and Social Security, and The British Wool Marketing Board.
Marnick holds a master’s degree from the University of Salford in Corporate Communication Strategy and Management and is completing her MBA in International Business.
She and her family are passionate about animal welfare and currently share their home with 16 dogs, cats and horses.
