Susan Solomon
Susan Solomon is passionate about ensuring everyone has the skills and opportunity to succeed in the life they envision. She has made this her life’s work as a counselor and therapist, completing her Master’s Degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Butler University and holding a license as a Professional Therapist in the State of North Carolina.
Susan has served in several counseling capacities including a juvenile center, individuals, couples and families (including military families). She has even worked in the forensic area of mental health.
Susan has always been an animal lover and has included horses and dogs in her clients’ therapy sessions. She has worked with Anna Twinney over the past 20 years learning the language of the horse along with honing her animal communication skills.
Susan believes life brings changes, which can invoke many different emotions and challenges. Not only does she apply cognitive behavior therapy in goal setting, re-framing and visualization and other coping skills to these situations, she also allows the animals to present their amazing emotional gifts to people ready to receive them.
